Charles F. Stanley’s newest book “How to Reach Your Full Potential for God” is an incredible work which sets a strong foundation in Biblical principles for achieving our ultimate Being. I love this work and found it to be entertaining and educational. The stories included at the end of each chapter give practical relevance to the many ways we can pursue our God-given potential.
I often listen to sermons delivered by this author and have always walked away enlightened and satisfied by his honesty and sincerity in delivering a message he cares whole heartedly that the listener understands and is able to apply in their daily walk. Dr. Stanley has the Truth sown in his heart and never walks around it. He is adamant about his beliefs and has the years of practical Bible knowledge and real world experience to back up every word of it. “Listen.” He is going to place you on the path and set God’s travel plan in motion. Our only requirement is to choose God’s way.
This book showed me another side of Charles that I was unfamiliar with. I was pleased to find a man whose open mindedness had allowed him to accept self help books as a viable source of information as long as the information within did line up with the Word. The fact that he was able to use the book “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill to gain spiritual fruit rather than material wishes particularly impressed me.
These chapters are loaded with valuable information that will appeal to both the avid reader of Christian based books as well as the novice student of the Word. His views of relationships and risk taking especially spoke to me. Clearing our minds and hearts while using our God given gifts will enable us to reach our greatest potential. After reading this wonderful work the readers will “Never Settle for Less than His Best” because of the lessons given through the inspiring words and chapters that comprise this must have book for anyone’s personal library. I would advise anyone who wishes to have a happy and healthy family life to set up a reading schedule to actively share this book with your children and spouse. This is a very important and powerful work!

Dr Stanley’s book is definitely worthwhile! I attended his church for five years– up until the time I had to relocate out of state for a new job. Dr Stanley is exactly what you see on TV or read in his books– a sincere and compassionate person who loves God.
He says what he means and means what he says. That what I like about him. Even if it something that I don’t totally agree with; I can respect his opinion and conviction.
