Why is Cain’s offering rejected by God? This question has been the subject of speculation for thousands of years. However, to me the answer is obvious.
It was not because one offering was of meat and the other of grain. It is biblically stated that such offering are of equal value. The message goes far further than the physical interpretations presented within the pages of the Bible.
You see, it is in the gesture itself. Able gave his offering freely and out of the greatest Love of heart. Yet, Cain gave his offer with regret and resentment. Able gave the best of what he had, All that He was, but Cain gave only what he did not really want. He gave the least of his treasures. This was an empty gesture.
