The feeling I get when reading the answer of “Thou sayest” is that Jesus is exhausted and sees no need in continuing the conversation. He sounds as if He is saying, “Whatever.” He knows what is coming and feels no need to entertain those who really have no power over what is about to take place. The prophesy will be completed regardless of His answer. Furthermore, the King of the Jews reference is almost meaningless to him. This was a very small tribe of wanderers and had little to do with who Jesus really was. He was, is and will always be the perfect example of God made man. In this is the Revelation of His return.
I can see that Jesus was definately telling us that God is Our Father in the Lord’s prayer. It seems as if He was referencing the physical realm (earth) and the spiritual realm (heart and soul). Again, He states that the Kingdom of heaven is here and now, “Your kingdom come, Your will be done”
