I decided to give them a call to see if they had any openings.  Guess what?  They did.  In fact they said that someone had just left that day and asked me to come down for an interview.  What are the chances?  Maybe I should ask, “What are the chances without God?”

Before you know it I was being approached every day by the teenage residents with poems, short stories and book chapters.  I began to work with them as much as I could at the home.  One resident, a former gang member, would give me a chapter every week and I would edit it for him… Continue reading He was so excited!

Shortly after some of the children at the home found out that I authored a book.  They were very interested and asked me to teach them to write.  I told them to simply write down their thoughts and not to worry about spelling and grammar; it could all be taken care of latter.
