Hope is our starting point, gratitude our fuel and faith is the key to our Promise.
Where do we begin to map out our ultimate destination? How do we arrive at the cost of our ordained journey? Like all things in life which are created the answer is in Us. All things begin with hope. Some things we hope we do and some things we hope we don’t, but either way without a doubt; hope is the starting point of all that is created.
Expect the worst and get it. Expect the best and get it. Expect nothing and we can get that too.
You see, when we are confident and faithful in expecting what we wish or pray for, the facilitation of our aspirations ignites. In essence we turn the key and the engine starts. By the power of our faith, through the seed of our hopes, we can begin to travel along the path to fulfillment.
(Matthew 12:20-22 King James Version) A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory. And in his name shall the Gentiles trust. Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.
It is through our thoughts that we see the possibilities and it is our words which govern our experiences. What we see we call into effect. In saying we seal our fate. Therefore, we must never contemplate failure or vocalize expectations of defeat.
(James 3:5 King James Version) Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
As we see where we are going, feel all the emotions associated with our vision and speak out affirming our beliefs; we arrive at either the Promise or the lie. This choice is ours. In staying steadfast and faithful we will continue to facilitate the manifestation of all that there is. As long as we continue to move in the same direction, maintain or increase our pace, we will build up the momentum necessary to be carried to our goal.
The problems often lay in the strength of our beliefs in our selves and in the Promise. Will we be able to maintain the momentum necessary to efficiently complete what was started or will we run out of gas well before we reach the next level in our destination? Many will retreat from what is theirs. They will exit the highway and turn back, pull into a rest stop and hold off or slam on the brakes, reverse and relish in all that they once had. We cannot get ahead by constantly looking behind. How long can an airplane remain in a holding pattern?
Following a circled path will only return us to where we had started.
There are many side roads and alternative routes in our travels, but only one direct path to the Promise. As we veer off course and sample the many courses we waste time, energy and lose momentum. It is so easy to play it safe and say, “Well, this is not exactly what God has promised, but it could be worse.” Truth is in Promise and the Word is never a lie. As we forfeit our dreams we lose Promise.
(2 Corinthians 5:7 Amplified Bible) For we walk by faith [we regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our conviction or belief respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, with trust and holy fervor; thus we walk] not by sight or appearance.
Often thing will appear hopeless and too difficult to bear, but this is only our own false interpretation of the transition which is taking place. The orange must be squeezed in order to experience the juice. We must not despair but energize in prayer. Seeing what is coming and feeling as if it is already here will put us into high gear.
(Isaiah 57:10 New International Version) You were wearied by all your ways, but you would not say, ‘It is hopeless.’ You found renewal of your strength, and so you did not faint.
If we feel broken and hopeless, proclaiming from within and without with the power of all that I Am, we are fateful in all. However, as we fill our hearts with hope, become grateful for all that I Am and put our faith in Him; we will rise up from the ashes and be energized by Spirit. In this we will experience the peace that is Israel.
(Ezekiel 37:11 Amplified Bible) Then He said to me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, Our bones are dried up and our hope is lost; we are completely cut off.
We must continue to move forward without reservation. Faith is the key to bringing us to where we are destining to be. It is up to us to take the steps necessary to move forward. Fear will only serve to keep us from ascending to the next level in our journey. By turning back we will only continually return to the places we left behind. More often than not that place no longer exists as it once did. Therefore we must insist, persist and nevermore resist! Remember, we are often brought to the feast by way of the fire, but we will make it through unscathed. We are protected, preserved and predestinated.
(Ephesians 1:11 Amplified Bible) In Him we also were made [God’s] heritage (portion) and we obtained an inheritance; for we had been foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in accordance with His purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His [own] will,
Everything always works out and all is always provided to us. We must be grateful for all that we have “NOW” and understand that we will have all that we need. Do no fret or fear. In the next second, minute or day the answer to all that you desire could come. Remember, Hope is around every corner.
Sometimes the Universe does not give us what we expect, but it always gives us what we need. -Tamara Joseph
