I remember an old commercial in which a man desperately needed to get to his medicine closet. He stood up on his feet and looked down an ever expanding hallway. At the very end was his medicine cabinet which contained the non prescription medication he needed. The worse he felt about making the journey the further away his destination became.
That is how our universe is set up too. When our spirits are high the journey is quick and painless, but when we concentrate on the negative aspects of it we become engulfed with the negative. These negative emotions drain us of our essence and energy thus causing us to become spiritually void and detached from God’s energy. -Ron Ash
