Raising Dead Bodies or Reincarnation?

What are your opinions or beliefs regarding the raising of the dead as stated in the Bible?  Do you feel it is a literal translation or could it be symbolic of something else?

I had a fiew people on my Facebook page bring it up and thought it would be interested to hear some of your opinions on this topic.  It would be nice to hear from you.

Hear are a few statements that came up so far.

“I went to Word Of Life Church, to see the Prophet Tony Atkinson. I received a powerful prophetic word. He stated” I will lead international Crusades, start many orphanages, and raise the dead, also the Lord is well please with my walk.” Make sure this Sunday you come to church with me you will receive an encouraging word from the Lord.”

“I don’t think that corpes will be raised. They are rotted like zombies. Don’t you think It is speaking about souls being raised.”

“When there in the morgue they can b raised, it’s not to late”
“Something tells me that’s not what Jesus meant. Even when you take the “morgue” perspective than it would not be fair to those already six feet under.”

“It sounds like one of those cases where the belief was there. Leadership discovered the era, but rather than come clean they continued to restate the belief and incorporate it into the dogma of the church.”

“Our body is temporal and our soul is eternal. We would have no want or use for our bodies after death. In fact it would be a demotion to once again only be part spirit. Perhaps it refers to rebirth via a second life as being soul born into a new fetis. This would add another delema though involving an entirely new argument. Reincarnation is not something that sits well with the church, but it seems to be the better explanation in this case.”

“I will have to ask for an answer from God on this one.”

Posibility is the Fetus of Achievement

The incredible fact is that we are DREAMERS!  We have the ability to see endlessly into the future.  Many times we forget that the authors, scientist and all who pose the question, “What could be?” have propelled us at lightening speeds into new eras of intelligence and competence again and again.

Future products, ideas and events all became realities from a single thought.  With this thought, it will be achieved.  Possibility is the fetus of achievement.  Like a child in its mother’s womb it develops.  Day after day, it grows and develops as a living organism.  Month’s pass and the developments continue and the child becomes more defined.  The sex of the child and other dynamics of what the child will become are more and more apparent.  Through interaction with its internal and external environment the physical, emotional and spiritual being becomes what the parents thought it would be.  Thought led to conception, conception led to birth and birth continues development.

The Supreme Combination

Our world is an interconnected, constantly circulating field of energy.  Energy exists on a physical plane and a spiritual plane.  It is this supreme combination, which enables the mechanics of the universe to produce the endless unfolding of our reality.  Through our thoughts comes our reality.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

(Philippians 4:8 KJV)

“Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!

(Deuteronomy 30:19 NLT)

Be Prepared

As we travel through this wonderful ever-changing world of ours, we consciously and unconsciously accumulate what we need to complete our journey.  Through education and experience, we become who we need to be to accomplish what needs to be done.  In our journey, we will take these tools, God’s gifts, to build, create and inspire.

The Blame Game

One of the most common problems in our society today is the way we adamantly deny being responsible for our own situations and circumstance.   As we fail to acknowledge being the cause and effect of the problems we experience we will fail to correct the problems.  The root of the issue shall never be examined and without dealing with the route of the issue it will not be corrected.
